Early life and education
Donald John Trump was born on June 14, 1946, at the Jamaica Hospital in the borough of Queens, New York City. His parents were Frederick Christ Trump, a real estate developer, and Mary Anne MacLeod. Trump grew up in the Jamaica Estates neighborhood of Queens and attended the Kew-Forest School from kindergarten through seventh grade. At age 13, he was enrolled in the New York Military Academy, a private boarding school. In 1964, he graduated from Fordham University with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics.
Business career
Donald Trump started his business career in 1968 when he became involved in his father’s company, Elizabeth Trump & Son. He helped the company revitalize several run-down properties in New York City. In 1971, the Trump Organization was created and Donald became its president.
The organization expanded its real estate holdings, purchasing hotels, golf courses, and office towers. In the 1980s, Trump began branding his name on buildings and products, becoming a household name. The 1990s saw the organization fall on tough times, but Trump was able to restructure his businesses and emerge successfully. Today, the Trump Organization is a leading global real estate company with a range of businesses including real estate development, property management, licensing, and golf course management.

Donald Trump, the 45th President of the United States, was a candidate in the 2016 presidential election. He won the Republican Party nomination and then went on to win the general election.
Trump did not have a lot of experience in politics before he ran for president. He was a businessman and reality TV star. He had never held elected office.

Donald Trump has been involved in several sports-related businesses and events. He owned the New jersey Generals of the now-defunct United States Football League (USFL) and he has hosted several championship boxing matches at his casinos. He also briefly owned the New York Yankees baseball team in 2001-2003. In the early 1990s, he tried to buy several National Football League (NFL) teams, but he was unsuccessful.

Donald Trump’s economic policy can be summed up in three main points: tax cuts for the wealthy, deregulation of industries, and protectionism.
Trump’s tax plan, which was passed by Congress in December 2017, slashed corporate taxes from 35% to 21%. It also reduced taxes for the wealthiest Americans while raising them for some middle-class families.
Trump has also sought to deregulate a number of industries, including the financial sector, environmental protections, and healthcare. He has rolled back environmental regulations put in place by the Obama administration, and his administration is currently seeking to repeal ObamaCare.
Finally, Trump has adopted a protectionist stance on trade, imposing tariffs on imported goods from a number of countries. He has also threatened to withdraw from NAFTA, the North American Free Trade Agreement.
Social policy
